Harry L. Isacoff is a partner in the Firm’s New York office. His practice is concentrated in customs and international trade law. He assists clients to maximize customs duty savings and minimize the risk associated with cross border transactions. He has extensive experience advising clients on matters involving product valuation, tariff classification, preferential trade programs, and other government agency requirements. His practice focuses on assisting clients with first-sale program implementations, corporate compliance programs, the development of customs-focused internal controls, and customs transfer pricing studies. He also represents clients during customs audits, government inquiries and penalty cases.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Isacoff spent 15 years as a customs and international trade consultant within the Big 4 accounting firms, including 4 years as the Northeast Area Leader for KPMG’s Trade and Customs Practice in New York. As a consultant, he advised clients with respect to customs transfer pricing, regulatory compliance, supply chain optimization and related import and export matters. Mr. Isacoff was also the Vice President of a regional customs brokerage and freight forwarding company.
