Ruting Chen has experience with respect to U.S. customs including tariff classification, country of origin marking, trade preference program, first sale, broker license application, protests, customs audits, Section 232 exclusions, Forced Labor, and the Enforce and Protect Act (EAPA). She also has experience in antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) proceedings involving China and other Asian countries.
During law school, Ms. Chen’s legal internships included positions at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, a New York City bankruptcy assistance program, and an international trade finance company.
Prior to law school, Ms. Chen served for four years as a program manager of an international labor relation project.
