GDLSK partner Frank J. Desiderio will present at the 2026 International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) World Congress in Milan, Italy. The gathering, which marks the 100th anniversary of the organization, will take place from October 6th to 9th.
Frank will participate in a panel on October 8 titled, “Customs Reimagined: Turning Tariffs, Data and De Minimis into Strategic Advantage,” alongside Marco Cutaia, Regional Director for Lombardy at the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM); Asha Menon, Vice-President of Global Customs and Regulatory Affairs at DHL Express; and Jaime King, Chair of the World Customs Organization (WCO) Private Sector Consultative Group (PSCG). The panel will look at how nearshoring, tariff volatility and the erosion of de minimis thresholds are reshaping customs strategy, and what freight forwarders should be advising clients as data submission requirements grow faster and stricter.
