It is with great pride that the Partners at GDLSK announce the promotion of Kristina M. Barry to the partnership of the Firm.
Kristina joined the Firm as an intern in 2017, having previously completed a judicial internship at the United States Court of International Trade as a law student. At GDLSK, Kristina has worked on cases concerning Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) compliance, classification of merchandise under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, valuation (including first sale appraisement), Section 301 tariffs and exclusions, marking and origin verifications, and drafting responses to CF-28s and CF-29s, penalty notices and prior disclosures. She has also assisted with state regulatory issues involving the Fish and Wildlife Service, The Federal Trade Commission, and the Food and Drug Administration. She holds a B.A. in Political Science with Distinction, minor in English from Stony Brook University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
