GDLSK Partner Arthur Bodek will participate as a panelist at the 2026 ABA International Law Section Americas Conference being held in Mexico City from January 26 – 28, 2026. The panel is entitled USMCA 2026 Review: Advancing North American Integration or Risking Shared Economic Decline.
The program will explore such issues as the state-of-play of tariffs and other trade-restricting measures imposed by the U.S. as well as expected negotiation topics, such as stricter rules of origin, enhanced labor enforcement, environmental concerns, access to the energy sector, and transshipment of Chinese components. The panel will give practitioners realistic scenarios for how renegotiation dynamics could unfold and how clients should plan for contingency tariffs, supply-chain diversification, and accelerated reshoring incentives.
