Petition Filed Requesting the Imposition of Antidumping and Countervailing Duties on Imports of Fresh Mushrooms from Canada

Case Summary

On September 16, 2025, the Fresh Mushrooms Fair Trade Coalition filed a petition for the imposition of antidumping and countervailing duties on the imports of Fresh Mushrooms from Canada. The petition alleges dumping margins of 32.14% and 44.73%. The petition identifies the members of the coalition, certain foreign producers/exporters, and U.S. importers of the investigated product.

The merchandise covered by these investigations is fresh mushrooms of the genus Agaricus (“fresh mushrooms”). This includes — but is not limited to — fresh mushrooms of the species Agaricus bisporus, which are commonly referred to as button mushrooms, chestnut mushrooms, cremini or crimini mushrooms, baby bellas, portabella or portobello mushrooms, table mushrooms, or as white or browns. The projected date of the International Trade Commission’s Preliminary Conference is October 7, 2025. The earliest theoretical date for retroactive suspension of liquidation for AD is November 25, 2025. CVD is October 6, 2025.
