Catherine J. Benitez

Catherine Benitez is an Associate (pending admission) in the firm’s New York office. She began her career with GDLSK as a summer associate in 2025. Her practice is focused on customs and international trade law. Ms. Benitez has experience with classification of merchandise under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, country of origin determinations, Section 232 exclusions, customs audits and penalty matters, drafting responses to CF-28s, and first sale appraisement programs.

As a law student, Ms. Benitez completed a judicial internship at the Supreme Court of Ireland.
