Customs Broker Regulation

IMPORTANT REMINDER: CUSTOMS BROKER USER FEES DUE JANUARY 30, 2026

CBP has issued a Notice reminding the brokerage community that the Customs Broker User Fee Payment for 2026 is due no later than January 30, 2026. The fee is assessed for each permit held by a broker, whether it may be an individual, partnership, association, or corporation. The annual user fee is now $185.38 for each permit.  The annual user fee can be paid via the eCBP portal located at https://e.cbp.dhs.gov/brokers/#/home, or sent to the appropriate Processing Center (i.e., the Broker Management Officer (BMO)) based upon the physical port location through which the license and national permit were issued). Licensed individuals who do not hold a permit are not required to pay this fee.
