James McAndrew To Present at “Art Market And Money Laundering” Symposium at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City on October 12, 2018

The Fashion Institute of Technology’s (FIT) Art Market Studies MA Program at the School of Graduate Studies and Case Western Reserve University’s School of Law are co-hosting the Art Market & Money Laundering Symposium at New York’s FIT, located at 7th Avenue and 27th Street, New York, N.Y. 10001.  The symposium will consist of two separate panel discussions comprised of “notable experts from law enforcement, the art industry, academia, and financial crimes compliance,” who will discuss the current state of the art market and money laundering.

As a former DHS Senior Special Agent and Head of the DHS International Art and Antiquity Theft Investigations Program, James McAndrew is uniquely qualified to participate in this symposium.  Mr. McAndrew is a Forensic Specialist and is responsible for developing the GDLSK Art Law practice.  Mr. McAndrew is a Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (C.A.M.S.) and will offer insight into this complex topic based on his experiences.  The Symposium will run from 12:30pm to 5:00pm and is free of charge; a reception will follow.  Register for the event by clicking on the below link.
