Mika M. McLafferty is an Associate in the New York office. She has experience handling numerous import and export issues (including classification, valuation, marking/origin, drawback, licensing, intellectual property rights, product safety compliance, labeling and other governmental agency requirements). She has represented clients before US Customs and Border Protection, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Fish and Wildlife Service, US Department of Commerce and other federal agencies. She has acted as counsel in various civil proceedings, developed internal compliance and duty savings programs for import and export companies and conducted due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
