Litigation

Almost all government decisions relating to the importation and exportation of merchandise can be challenged in court. However, an importer's claims for relief are subject to very strict time frames and jurisdictional prerequisites. The Firm maintains a separate litigation department to ensure that litigation is handled expeditiously and efficiently. Our lawyers regularly appear before the US Court of International Trade and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, as well as other courts having jurisdiction over customs and trade matters.
